(01) A little about me

Since 2022, I’ve built online stores for brands like Yeo’s, ML models for child protection work, and a research platform for self-driving cars. I’ve also taught coding to kids as young as six and co-developed Dreamfellas, a publication covering Asia’s dance, style and music scene.

I like moving between layers of a project. Some weeks that’s designing on Figma and bringing them to life in Next.js. Other weeks it’s wrangling messy data, figuring out how different systems talk to each other, or reading raw bytes off a circuit board until they make sense.

Away from the keyboard, I tutor youths with Impart every week, break (the dance, not prod), and travel whenever I can. Oh, and I do headspins. If that doesn’t make me sound like a great personality hire, I’m not sure what will.

Freelance, government, education and corporate. A few years of saying yes to very different problems.

Built and launched websites and online stores for 5+ clients including Yeo's, SIT and Pandano, from requirements through deployment and maintenance.
Advised clients on stack, architecture and hosting across Next.js, React, Shopify and WordPress, based on budget and team.
Co-developed Dreamfellas, a publication covering Asia's dance, style and music scene.

Brought 100+ research projects from 6 labs into one showcase on the SIT website.
Cleaned and migrated the data into Drupal so staff can update it without a developer.

Built and deployed ML models that pre-label risk levels on incoming child protection cases, so officers can focus on high-risk ones.
Worked as business analyst on a CRM migration, turning operational needs into specs and user stories.
